Yorta Yorta Nation And the local governments relationships and partnerships is growing. Yorta Yortawith each local government  has works very hard to lay strong foundation for future planning, development and ultimately achieving short to long-term goals. Often, Yorta Yorta's purpose is misunderstood by the public to act soley in the interest of Yorta Yorta peoples and country and while this is primarily Yorta Yorta's body of aspirations we believe and seek to add value to the region and people. We are confident working with local shires will improve understanding of Yorta Yorta, deliver tangible reconciliation at a local level and bring communities together of all races and backgrounds.



Recently, Yorta Yorta with Campaspe  Shire signed an agreement to underpin planning and development activities between the shire and  the Yorta Yorta peoples.
